Preferred by players looking for the crisp, alignment-promoting setup of a Newport 2, but in a wider-bodied, more forgiving mid-mallet configuration, the Special Select Squareback 2 joins the line with a completely redesigned plumbing neck, a solid milled putter head and the racy, sleek lines of its Newport 2 cousin, including a thinner topline and slightly more compact face height.

In crafting this stable, boxy blade-like mid-mallet, optimal balance was achieved by designing weight into the heel, toe and perimeter integrated with a 6061 aluminum sole plate and performance balanced stainless steel sole weights. In keeping with the Special Select line’s design aesthetic, the Squareback 2 includes a precision mid-milled face and incorporates the new Tour-inspired ‘cherry rings” inspired by legendary Tour putters from tournaments past.

The Squareback 2 has a mid toe flow, ideal for golfers that have very slight arc and face rotation in their putting stroke.
